Start with Change Readines
Start with the Change Readiness Assessment, when the project is in the start-up stage as this will give you a view if you are ready to consider (more) change. You have two options - Change Readiness AssessmentandChange Comptetency ADKAR Assessment.
Change Competency ADKAR Assessment
While both should be used from the beginning of the project, when compared with ADKAR, the Readiness Assessment is more of a one-off exercise and more focused on the organisation while the ADKAR should be continuously present/evaluated and is focused on the end users. Therefore, both are recommended.
Understand the appetite with the Change Curve Model
Document the pre and post-state in using the change curve. The curve captures the seven stages that people go through - Shock, Denial, Frustration, Depression, Experiment, Decision & Integration.
Change Feedback Quadrant
Use the feedback quadrant to understand the current feelings, how it can be managed, the team's needs, and how individuals can support the team.
Use our comprehensive Change Management Plan Template
A good change management plan outlines the approach for change, and should include the Impact Assessment and how the ADKAR model will be utilised.

Cover all the bases with our Change Management Process Checklist
Checklists are great to navigate complex systems or processes thus ideal for change management. At the end of the day, the purpose of the checklist is to make your work and life easier, not to slow you down.
Project Change Log and Trackers
A project change log is used to systematically document and track all changes made during a project, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective management of these changes. It aids in assessing the impact of changes on the project's scope, timeline, and resources, facilitating informed decision-making and communication among stakeholders.
Change Control Forms
Use our Change Control Forms all the details are captured. They provide a formal record of proposed changes, detailing what the change is, why it is necessary, how it will be implemented, and who is responsible for it.
